How I can help
Your first home — made manageable
Buying your first home is one of the most exciting — and nerve-wracking — things you'll ever do. There's a lot to navigate: deposits, grants, lender criteria, valuations, conveyancers... the list goes on. My job is to cut through all of that and make it simple. I've helped dozens of first home buyers get into their first property, and I know exactly what it takes.
Government schemes that could save you thousands
First home buyers across Australia may be eligible for a range of government support schemes, with availability and benefits varying by state and territory. These can include First Home Owner Grants for eligible new builds, stamp duty concessions or exemptions depending on purchase price thresholds, and federal initiatives such as the First Home Guarantee, which may allow eligible buyers to purchase with as little as a 5% deposit without paying Lenders Mortgage Insurance. I’ll help you understand what you’re eligible for and make sure you’re accessing every scheme available to you.
What the process actually looks like
We start with a free chat about your goals, income, and deposit. I'll calculate your borrowing capacity, explain your options, and get you a pre-approval so you can house-hunt with confidence. Once you find the right place, I handle the full loan application — dealing with the lender, chasing up assessors, and keeping you informed at every step. From pre-approval to settlement typically takes 4–8 weeks depending on the property.
What you need to get started
A deposit of at least 5% of the purchase price (plus buying costs)
Stable employment or consistent income history
Recent payslips, bank statements, and tax returns
A genuine savings record (most lenders want to see 3+ months)
Even if you don't tick every box yet, book a call and I'll tell you exactly where you stand and what you need to do to get there. Many clients who thought they weren't ready were buying within six months of talking to me.

Mortgages can feel complicated. Here are the questions I get asked most often — answered plainly, without the jargon.
Nothing — my service is completely free to you. I’m paid a commission by the lender once your loan settles, so there are no out-of-pocket costs or fees deducted from your funds. This doesn’t affect your interest rate, and I’m legally required to act in your best interests at all times.
I'm accredited with 30+ lenders including the major banks, second-tier lenders, and specialist non-banks. This gives me a far broader view of the market than if you went directly to a single bank.
It varies, but from your first appointment to a formal approval is typically 1–7 business days for a straightforward application. From there, settlement is usually 2–6 weeks. I'll give you a realistic timeline based on your specific situation.
Yes, some lenders specialise in non-conforming or adverse credit scenarios. The first step is understanding your full situation — book a free chat and I'll give you an honest assessment of your options including what you can do do to improve your credit score.
